Hi All,

I am using Kodi via NVIDIA Shield, with a 2tb Seagate external hard drive USB'd into the Shield box.

I can access the files via the menu system, but I would like to populate the library & scrap the movie details...I just can't see a way of having the files searched for & inputted into the library?

Can anyone advise please?

Just to help guide, so I open up movies, and 'enter files section', I select 'seagate expansion drive' then, navigate through my folders... But at no point does it let me scan for media, I just see the various films I have stored in the Usb drive....


I used to be able to make it all work via my NAS drive, buts it's packed up and I havnt had a chance to replace it yet.

You need to open the context menu on the folder containing your movies and select 'Set content'.
