Hello everyone I found a kodi forum post that said a setting was added in Omega Alpha 3 that has the ability to turn off DV or HDR. By a setting in the processing/ video section.

I've just installed Omega Beta 2. Which is a later iteration but the setting isn't there to be changed?
Does anyone know where I went wrong or am I missing something?

When you install that build, the options are in Settings->Player->Video options. You have to enable "Expert" mode (at the bottom of left pane) to see that setting

I’ve just double checked. It’s definitely not in there. Am I misreading the post.
Is it saying the automatic conversion of DV profiles is now in the Omega Alpha 3 onwards.
But the hdr and DV disable setting is only in this specific quiet void build

Yes, it hasn't been added to official Kodi releases; it exists only in quietvoid's and maven's Kodi builds, or maven's 64bit build...
