Hi,
I only have a problem with a series that I scan in manual mode with my own xml and image files.
I never have any problems with that but today it's giving me errors with 2 addons.
The scan takes place as usual and then Kodi crashes and when starting Kodi crashes immediately.

service.library.data.provider (0.4.2) and script.embuary.helper (2.0.8) When I delete them, I have no problem

Kodi Crash Log 1
GDB 1

Kodi Crash Log 2
GDB 2

Thanks for your reply

confirm this one crashes certain Kodi setups, i personally have had this issue and have helped another user with the same issue where it also fixed it removing this addon

first time hearing about this one, are you certain or is it getting blamed for the other one crashing the system?

no, it is the first to crash and when I delete it I have the other one that crashes. Hence my crash log 1 and 2

ok i got some search results on this one

crashing reported here https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/24566
and here https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid3132851

fix was reported in that thread but never merged which is here https://github.com/MikeSiLVO/service.lib...e9e6f466ec

if that fix does not work for you then follow up to the thread above

I know this thread and it is on this thread that I actually also found the pull request that I tested before posting my problem.

OK thank you and for now the addons will remain disabled
I'll come back to clarify the problem. As mentioned above, my problems only arise after scanning a series manually with my own local xml files
After several days of reflection and research I found the source of the problem. In the xml files there is a <plot> tag which is normally in text format
once imported into the database here some episodes were imported in blob (image) format which posed a problem for the addons mentioned above
I therefore corrected the xml files affected by the problem and now I no longer have any problems with the addons.
