I've tried 2 different USB sticks, and three different machines. I get the following:
1) USB stick #1 generates all sorts of errors on PC #1 when doing the XBMC install. No errors in Windows. 8GB stick.
1a) When booting from CD, I get the cylon screen, then a quick text login screen, then a black screen. That's it. ATI 4850 on G35 mobo.
2) USB stick #2 works in PC #2 for the install. However when booting from the USB (nVidia), I get the cylon screen, then a blinking cursor. I think this is the card-reader bug.
3) USB stick #2 in PC #3, it boots from the USB, but then I get a Unix window manager, with a gray background and I can open command windows, etc.
What's up with all this? What am I doing wrong here?
