Hello everybody!
I'm using latest Lubuntu + kodi to use an old pc as a tv: it could be great but in the (free!) channel list I use here there are some channels that stream at 1080p (even though, on those streams, it is possible to manually select a lower resolution streaming) while this pc won't stream properly things above 720p: is there a way to prevent the system from loading resolution higher than 720p or force all streams to the same resolution (if possible)? Tweaking inpustream adaptive didn't work , nor it did trying to select a 720p and then entering video settings and setting it as default for all media.
any hint? main resolution in settings is 1280x720

Thanks for the great work anyway!
the channel list I'm using is thisĀ https://github.com/Tundrak/IPTV-Italia/r...taplus.m3u , the streams that give me problems are mainly "rai1" and "nove"
Have you tried lowering the bandwidth available to Kodi?

System/System Settings/Internet Access/Internet Connection Bandwidth Limitation.

The odd thing is this solution seems to work for many channels that previously streamed to 1080p, but not with the first one, Rai1 !
I found out many other channels don't switch automatically to lower resolution. Any other suggestion?
