It's already a few months now since the LAST Kodi 21.1 appeared... and there is nothing on the news section about Kodi 22.0 (or Kodi 21.2?)
Any news?

22 is pretty stable as it is.

I haven't heard anything about this being added, so I guess the answer is no.

As a Windows only playback stack then dsplayer will never be part of the official Kodi releases, and will remain it's own sperate entity.
