Hi all,
I have used the LiveCD to install XBMC to an USB stick. I have an IDE DVD drive and my IDE controller is part of an nForce chipset. It doesn't like libata (or libata doesn't like it), so my usual "trick" is to compile a custom kernel which does not use libata, but uses the old IDE subsystem (I've done this to run GeeXbox, for example).
So, my problem: being unfamiliar with Ubuntu (don't have it installed and don't want to install a full distro just to recompile a kernel) and being a little confused with all this Feitsy-Gusty-Hardy naming, I'll appreciate your help on this issue:
Where can I get the proper sources for 2.6.24-19 used on XBMC LiveCD - preferably, together with the original .config file so that I can tweak it to my hardware?
Thank you in advance,
Assen Totin
