Hi,

I run mythtv from a script to watch live tv, but as both receive commands from lirc, when I'm back from mythtv all buttons I've pressed were pressed on xbmc as well, besides is annoying, could be dangerous.

Is there any way to stop xbmc from receiving lirc commands while mythtv is running?

I know I can emulate key presses with lirc, but it's a bit of a pain

This is planned for the next milestone (9.04) after the upcoming stable release of XBMC. I've created a ticket and attached a "untested!" patch at http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/5152.

That would be great! I guess I will have to wait to be released
