I find the colors a little dark on my old Sony Trinitron CRT .
I've tried to set the contrast within XBMC higher but on HD material I get right away dropped frames.
Is there a way to set the gamma higher in the nvidia driver settings ?

Any Ideas are welcome

Not tried but ssh in and copy /etc/X11/xorg.conf
find and change according to this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=341416

And create a folder on your USB called "config" (without the " ) and add that xorg.conf into that folder.

I only have to fine tune the values.
