Hi,

I was wondering wether it would be possible to have XBMC use Apple's DVDplayback.framework if the files from recovery.dmg were present in the AppleTV, much like NitoTV from 0.5.6 on achieved. My AppleTV is running 2.1 but I got the needed files as part of my efforts to install AtvFlash 3.2.

Anyhow, I would like to say that i find XBMC to be already awesome.

Sorry, XBMC does not nor will ever use Apple's DVDplayback.framework. It's incompatible with the other two platforms, XBMC for Linux and XBMC for Mac. XBMC has it own dvd handling software.
Thanks for your reply, Davilla.
I see your point and have to admit it makes total sense now that you've mentioned it.
Best regards,
