hi

i get "Clocksource tsc unstable ( delta = -299086674806 ns )" when i try to run the livecd it is the the same in non safe and safe mode!!

any ideas?

It has to do with your power management (acpi)
try the solution here:
http://www.pcinvent.info/technology/os/f...c-unstable

which is more of a 'turn off acpi so you don't get the message' kind of fix...

my q. is where do i find this grub.conf on the liveCD??

I think in ubuntu the file is
/boot/grub/menu.lst

no grub on XBMC Live, isolinux/syslinux are used and you have to modify the .cfg file.
