Just wondering what people use to control their XBMC (besides the normal mouse and keyboard combo). Please provide links if you can.

I was thinking something like this: logitech air mouse

anyone have any experience with this. any idea if it work ?

thanks

Seems neat, but a wiimote would be cheaper
I am a remote person...

I use a USB-UIRT receiver and a MX-810 remote controled by Ghostevent software with xbmc plugin
DiNovo Mini works well as does the Microsoft MCE remote which is VERY easy to setup. Search, you will find about a dozen threads on this.
dandirk,

Do you mean Eventghost? Thought that was Windows only ?

I use the Logitech DiNovo keyboard (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboa...2&cl=US,EN) for my PC-needs on my Ubuntu HTPC and the Harmony (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remote...2&cl=us,en) remote configured as an MCE remote (http://www.pcalchemy.com/product_info.ph...1a2f3f1908) for my media needs in XBMC and MythTV.

As a remote receiver, I use the IR-receiver in my Antec Fusion Black (http://www.antec.com/usa/productDetails....s&id=15739). The nice thing about this case is that if you connect the cables correct, the MCE remote will turn on the PC out of the box...
well I went and got the Logitech Mini DiNovo keyboard (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboa...8&cl=us,en)

seems great so far. had trouble getting the mouse pad working straight out of the box

found help on the ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-727505.html

works perfect now!

thanks for the input guys

Is anyone using iMonVFD remote? (the one that came with Antec Fusion Remote case).
If so, is everything working (keys, display, volume knob)?
