Full Version: Intermittent problems streaming video with XBMC for ATV

So I've got XBMC Atlantis Beta 2 up and running on ATV. I'm running ATV FW v2.2, have a gigabit ethernet connection, and am accessing media on a Netgear ReadyNas NV+. Additionally, I previously had XBMC on XBOX and experienced no problems.

Now, when I try and play an .AVI the first time, the playback is very "jumpy" for lack of better words. It almost gives me vertigo. If I stop the movie, and press play again, everything runs smoothly. If I stop again, and play, its back to the jumpy stream. So it seems that every odd time I try, I get the shakes. Every even time, it works fine.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be a setting that I need to look at?

i had a problem streaming divx, its was displaying vertical lines during the movie all the time. i just enable VSYNC in the options of xbmc and that was all.
VSYNC was already enabled. Is anyone else out there having this odd/even issue?
Increase the buffer size for LAN? Mine is 8M
