I am looking for a possibility to watch TV with my XBMC live linux computer.
The TV card is built in my XBMC Live computer and I don't want to stream anything from or to another computer from/to XMBC Live.
At the moment I know that you can use vdr or myth. But it seems that they have to run as deamons in the background the hole time!?
What is the easiest way to watch tv with a built-in TVCard? It should only starts the tv software/card if I 'd like to watch TV.
The tv card is working fine with linux.
Is there a howto somewhere available?
