I just installed xbmc on fedora 9 from rpm found at fedora junkies website. It plays h.264 fine except no audio. Mpeg 4 video plays to fast and no audio also. In the audio section i have my audio device set to intel ich5. And output pass through at iec958. Any one with ideas.

Set both to iec958 I believe.

that seems to have fixed the playing too fast on mpeg 4 videos but stll no audio .

always post a full debug log, otherwise all you will get is guesses
Anyhow, is pulseaudio active in fedora 9? if so kill the thing.
