I was wondering if someone could tell me what my audio settings should be. Im running ubuntu 8.10 with intel onboard audio. Everything is going through fiber optic audio. In system>Preference>Sound what should i choose for?
Sound Events
Sound Playback:
Music and Movies
Sound playback:
Audio Conferencing
Sound Playback:
Sound capture:
Any help would be great. In xbmc i currently have
Audio Output Device : iec958
Passthrough Output Device: iec958.
If i put Audio Output as default i get sound but it seems to cause my xbmc to crash when i try to skip foward. there is a lag when skiping forward and if i skipp to much it will cause xbmc to freeze and sound to freeze. if audio output is set to iec958 there is no problem skipping foward
