I can imagine how stupid it sound's for experienced users, but Does XBMC play regular TV?
I'm completely new in MC and My English is not so good, so my search was unsuccessful.
Now I'm using MythTv for media center and tv. I tried XBMC on laptop and now thinking about replacing MythTv with XBMC at home PC. Will I lose TV functionality after that? Is it possible to integrate XBMC and MythTv? Any other solutions?

Any comments and links welcome!

P.S. I'm using ubuntu 8.10 for MythTv.

You can connect to your MythTV backend from XBMC to watch live and recorded programs. I don't think there's a native way to watch TV in XBMC but in my experience using the MythTV backend works great.

To connect to your backend just add a video source in the following format:

You *may* (if you don't already have one) need to add a mysql user that has permission to access the mythconverg database remotely to get this to work.
