I downloaded mediastream skin and it looks AWESOME!!! Prior to this, I was using the default PM3.HD skin. I had programmed the keyboard keys like p for play, x for stop, etc.. as per in the keymap.xml file and used this to program my harmony universal remote. But after switching to mediastream skin, those keys no longer work and I searched the folder and I could not find anything that I could customize those keys like the default skin keys. I'm a newbie to xbmc. Please help out!!

ahem... key customization isn't done within the skin folder but within userdata folder, which is skin-independant, so maybe you overwrote the files within userdata (if you are working on xbox) or ~/.xbmc/userdata (if under linux)

does it still work if you switch back to pm3? There's no reason switching skins should change your keymap in anyway.

my bad. it actually works. it is my remote control that was the problem.
