Hi,

I still can't make subtitles to work neither with XBMC nor Boxee.

It shows subtitles but doesn't remove them in time, so new subtitle displays on top of old one and whole screen is mess, like displaying 5 subtitles at the same time.

Also looks like timing is off as well. All this works on XBMC on old xbox and vlc player on PC.

Anyone else having same issues? I have quite a few movies in foreign language and can't use my shiny new aTV to watch them

ok, tested some more and it only *sub* type subtitles that doesn't work, *srt* works fine.

AFAIK, subs are made of bitmap images where srt is just plain text files. Looks like for some reason XBMC has issue with displaying sub on aTV.

Problem is, 99% of my movies with subtitles are of sub type and not srt

Can someone please at least confirm that sub type subtitles works/doesn't for you?

I'm just wondering if I'm alone with this problem and maybe its just an option I need turn on/off on my end?
