I tried running XBMC Live with a Virtualbox.
The system boots and goes into flashing between a TTY/login and a black screen(xdesktop?)
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
yes, you cannot run something that requires direct access to your gfx card in a virtual machine and expect anything like acceptable performance. that being said, virtualbox apparently added gl wrapping recently, so at least it should run on newer versions

Exactly what i needed to know!
Thanks kind sir!
Can I write a script to VT Flip to another terminal running another X server, & start Virtual Box there? Granted, this would slurp up tons o' resources, but it might be a work-around (maybe?)
