I backed up a dvd and created a single 4gb vob file. When I play the movie it stops at around 1hr. xbmc doesn't think it is any longer than this.
Here's the thing. I believe that when I first started watching the moive, that my dvd encoding hadn't actually finished yet. I didn't realize this at the time. Perhaps xbmc somehow has this info in a cache and the program thinks that the movie smaller than it is. I've played the movie in the Totem movie player and it will play the whole thing (although it plays rather poorly, I find Totem to be jittery on my computer).
I moved the move (vob) file to see if that shook things up, but it didn't. What else can I try?
