Hello,
I have a eee box here, with Ubuntu 8.10. My problem is when running XBMC a long time (>24h) and then exiting XBMC, Gnome hags. I can see the backround picture but no menus. So I only can power off the eee box with pressing the power button for a while.
Another thing is when watching a movie I see something like a line, when scene is changing fast.

Has anyone some hints for me?

Enable vsync to get rid of the line. No idea about the gnome thing, could be OOM or something, you didn't really provide enough detail about the problem.

Thanks for your response. But do I enable vsync? I have a Intel GMA 950 in my eee box.
And what information do we need to the error with gnome?
