I've had XBMC installed on Hardy via PPA for several months, working great with lirc.

Today I SSH'd in to the box and installed a bunch of hardy updates, including XBMC 8.10final and now my remote doesn't work.

IRW shows the correct codes when I hit the buttons. Here is some output from my xbmc.log:

Does anyone have any thoughts on what might have changed in the latest version of XBMC? Would it have clobbered my keymap or lircmap files when it upgraded?

If you had personalised settings in /usr/share/xbmc/system (Keymap.xml or Lircmap.xml) those have been overwritten. Write your own changes in ~/.xbmc/userdata/ instead.
