It looks like I'm slowly getting a Windows-based XBMC instance up and running... still a bit of configuration for my Streamzap remote,etc. Assuming I have a working XBMC, what is the best way to collect up good plugins and scripts? It seems like things are somewhat scattered around and I'm not quite sure where to start.

You have few scripts/plugin which will download and install script/plugins for you:
- Program Plugin
SVN repo installer : it installs last revision of scripts/plugin available XBMC add-on SVN
- Script
Installer Passion-XBMC: it installs skins/plugins/scripts/scraper available on Passion-XBMC.org server and give you a quick description of each of them. It also allows to manage item already installed in XBMC
Great. I will give those two a try. On one hand, I like the fact that Boxee comes "pre-configured" with so much stuff, but on the other hand I like the "openness" of XBMC.
