Full Version: new /usr/bin/xbmc script doesn't work (at least for me)

Hi,

Just got the fresh version from SVN this afternoon (181xx), and looks like the /usr/bin/xbmc startup script has changed: now a python script is being called at the very beginning of the startup script (python /usr/share/xbmc/FEH.py).

From what I've seen so far the script fail some checks and displays a dialog with 'quit' button. The error log shows:

sh: glxinfo: not found

Looks like the 'mesa-utils' package need to be installed for that utility to work.

I can post more info if needed to debug the issue. So far calling xbmc.bin directly works for me.

Which is why we updated the dependency list in README.linux to say just that.
Well, what do you know... Thanks for the advice - I'll check the README once again to see what's new.
