Hello! Newbie skinner here.

... so I'm doing this really cool skin for xbmc.

I've been learning to skin mostly by modifying the mediastream skin.

My first question is ...

* in viewsVideo.xml all media somehow is gathered into the wraplist with id "82".
Why 82? Can this be changed?

And when I click/press enter on an item it starts to play. Fine, but what if I want to add another window/list/menu to display some info first? Any idea how this can be implemented?

No idea about id 82 - best to ask in the mediastream forum.

You can't do the second one - actions are up to XBMC to determine, not the skin.
