Hi,

I have recently installed xbmc on a windows xp pc.
I have a remote controle for MCE which is recognized in vista.
I don't want to run vista but in xp it just says something about a dongle and it is not working.
Is there a way to bypass and install ?
It's this remote (only info i could find)

Check Dell's website to see if there is an XP driver for the receiver. The main issue here isn't the remote, but the receiver working with the PC.

Again indeed. Check out the sticky about IR. There is a thread that has MCE remote drivers for XP that may work for you.
