I have set up an ftp server and have made an connection to it throu XBMC.
I even got it to stream movies correctly.
But when u look at the ftp server program u see that XBMC makes way many connections. I got loke 1000 connections to the server only by browsing the different folders.
I also think this is why XBMC freezes up and wont work sometimes also.
It seems like XBMC logs on to the ftp server gets the info and then disconnect and reconnects when it need something instead of idle or something.
I have tried both filezilla and g6ftp.
Have rly tried to find any info about what to do but cant find any.
Is there a way to solve this problem or should i just forgett the ftp.
And yes i know that this isnt the optimal way but i want to get to my files even when im not home and this could be an way. So if anyone knows pls say what to do.
