So I have some EyeTV recordings that are ~6 gigs on my RAID NAS connected via gigabit network. They are HD (obviously) and seem to often throw XBMC into a "Buffering..." message often when I'm doing a lot of recording I/O on the RAID. In watching my RAID, it seems to burst its transfers in 10 MB chunks. I am wondering if I could increase the cache somehow greater than 4096 to fix this buffering message? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
