Maybe this is a known bug but cant you see what movies and series that are marked as viewed somehow?

I also miss the plot about each episode when browsing series.

Happy for some help if its possible already.

The watched/unwatched "icon" is in work if I got that right.

And for the plots for each episode: I haven't tried it myself but as the TV Shows section is only a placeholder and uses just the same view as the movies, this might be the reason for it not working the way you expect it.
