I'm trying to set XBMC Screen resolution to 1920x1080 as I have ATV hooked up to my Toshiba 1080p TV. The ATV is set to 1080p, I have the ATV connected to the TV via HDMI and the TV set to "exact scan". I have set XBMC screen resolution to 1920x1080 but under the system info page the Screen Resolution says its running 1280x720 1280x720 (Full Screen) @ 60Hz.

Anyone know what's going on here?

set the display resolution in frontrow first. that might help.

I've found running AppleTVs at greater than 720p to be useless. You can't handle 1080p content so all you are doing is making the AppleTV work harder by having to scale the decoded content up to 1080p.

skins are slower too.
Thanks Davilla. I'll try that though I'm sure you're right about the max resolution its the Spinal Tap thing

Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
