Using the instructions in the thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=49420, I set up my Harmony to think of the ATV as a PlexPlayer device and copied the indicated files to the appropriate locations on the ATV hard drive. I am using the keymap.xml file without alteration.

However, the additional keys that are enabled seem to either do nothing or map to the 6 keys in the original ATV Remote. In all cases, the Harmony is transmitting IR codes.

Since the thread was for MAC Mini's should I not have expected the functionality to work with the ATV.

I'm running Babylon RC1 on top of ATV 2.3.1 and will be happy to post logs if I'm trying something that should work.

the XBMCHelper beta is currently OSX only, no ATV support.
As an alternative, did you try to use the "Learned Remote" feature of ATV 2.3.1? There's a thread in this forum with details. It enables few multimedia buttons like Play,Pause etc.
Second there's still universal-mode.

Thanks for clarifying the Mac-only nature of the particular solution. I will try the alternate method.
