I have a MKV file with emedded subtitles that aren't been displayed on the screen through XBMC, but are visible through VLC.

The subtitles to appear to be "unknown" and the OSD does seem to say they exist for selection, but they don't seem to show up.

Tried both ATV and my mini mac.

Using the latest beta.

Any suggestions?

make a update to XBMC for Mac 9.04 'Babylon' final release and subs works fine.
