Hello people

I have just purchased a Samsung VP HMX20C FULL HD.

The video format is HD.MP4

If I try to play it with the XBOX using XBMC (I have tried differente releases) I can hear the audio but the video is black.

Is there a way to see it on my TV through XBMC ?

Thanks

miazza
My guess is that the xbox can't handle it, because of lacking power to play HD material, otherwise there is a codec not supported by mplayer.

The old Xbox will never be able to play high-definition H.264 No

...as a workaround try TVercity and make it transcode to MPEG-2

...or better yet built a HTPC to run XBMC for Linux on Wink

When did you become Team-XBMC "Handyman" ?

I've got a leaky tap, can you help? Big Grin
You could convert it to high-bitrate 720p Xvid format. Xbox plays this, and it looks quite good. There's a thread about this around here somewhere...

I've found a good work around very fast and easy for everyone.
The toll is Free 3GP Video Coverter.
It converts very quickly your HD MP4 to AVI 720x540 that is handled by XBMC with very good quality.

Thanks for the help.
