How do I actually close XBMC when the Aeon Stark theme is enabled? (on Linux Mint "Felicia") as on the old theme you would use the up and down arrows to navigate different menus...but not in the new version:o

You can hit S to bring up the menu or if you're at the home screen you can just press the End key on your keyboard.
Personally I have the shutdown menu bound to the power key on my remote.
Under the settings menu you can toggle the visibility of the "shutdown" menu on the home screen
or as has been said, just press "s" and then select shutdown
