Is this broken for anyone else? I start a stream and it quits after half a second.
Fine here.

Debug log?
Can't play the radio streams. Can only play the BBC One live stream (and that only plays when it wants). I am being rather naughty however in using a SmartDNS service since I am in Ireland. Not too pushed though as long as the on demand stuff works. Thanks exobuzz!

I get the same on my an appletv 2 (not running 5.2) running Frodo. Does the same on ITVPlayer.

This is for ondemand programs.

On Demand works on my RPi BUT I cant get any of the live channels on iplayer to work on the ATV or RPi.

It's not the geo locking as I have smartDNS service that is working on my raspberry Pi, PC's etc.

Full Error Log

Shows an audio unit error but as I'm new to this, means nowt to me Sad

These are the last 2 things I want to get working and then I'm happy - Actually, ondemand working on the ATV and live TV iplayer & ITV player on ATV & RPi would be perfect (currently using Notfilmon)

Did you get this working ? It's still doing it on mine. No feedback from the log yet.
I can't see if this has been covered but I have a strange issue where I can see the listings of the new episodes like this screen below.

Image

but when I click on any of them instead of giving me the list of episodes for a series to play it just gives the parent .. link with nothing below.

Image

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the player from zip.

Playing the Live channels works fine oddly, just can't get the catchup to gives the episodes to play. (It had been working in the past btw)

Any ideas? (other than reformat the drive with a new XBMCbuntu - I'm using the last stable Eden too)
anyone in the UK who wants to talk about XBMC get in contact with me!
Hello there chaps.

I've been having the same problem with the iplayer addon for a couple of months now. Here's the log:

Any ideas what's going on? It tells me to check my network settings, but iplayer works fine from my browser.
I'm unable to get any of the live HD streams to work, it always shows the 688x300 version. I have manually set the desired quality to maximum. I'm using the latest plugin version from SVN (tried 2.4.17 too but didn't work there either). What could be the problem?
I've started having a problem with V17 on my raspberry Pi.. when I try to play something it tells me I'm already streaming and I need to stop that first (not exact wording) and it says to press X
I've rebooted, reinstalled and nothing is working
Rolled back to V15 and this one works (but HD streams don't work .. always plays SD - even from HD channel)

So, can anyone tell me if this is happening with them?

Also, in the meantime is there a way to get V15 to stream HD content?)

Cheers
V17 has stopped working for me on both my ATV2 and my RPi (My ITV Player also come up with a script error now)

I haven't had time to roll back or anything yet but anyone know if there is a fix ?

This fixed it for me, thanks!!
Is there a way to record Iplayer the same as 4od and demand5
When I watch a program via iPlayer, ITVplayer etc I get the progress bar which goes to 80% and the program starts OK. However, with longer programs (over 30 mins or so) it does not get to the end. It goes for a while and then exits back to the menu. If I then go back in and use the number buttons on the remote to go directly to, say, 40 mins into the program it will complete OK. Does anyone have any ideas on what could cause this?
