VDPAU only works with 8/9 series at the moment I believe.
works perfectly on
Asus P5N7A-VM HDMI (nvidia nforce i730 / geforce9300 onboard)
sounds via HDMI, just no navigational sounds, but that is just fine!

Maxim Wrote:I was looking into building my own XBMC Live based off of updated ubuntu packages/ppas and saw that on Moblin's site they have now deprecated the MIC application and have moved on to MIC2. What's the plan regarding that? I'm asking because I don't want to go through the hassle of learning about MIC and then changing everything with MIC2. I'd rather just start with MIC2 if XBMC Live is going to move from MIC as well.

Anyone is able to answer this question?
next release will be built with debian's "live-helper"

Is it possible to provide us with a basic commandset? I wonder which lh_config --packages command you use to build the image. Or do you have a script for building your own image?
Does anyone compile builds of Live? nothing on nightly builds? if not could I transfer later files to my install?
Anyone? Can I just copy the Linux build files/folders on to a live install? the build from May wont run Mediastream_Redux-MOD which was one of my plans......
you can update via apt-get (or XBMC Aptitude script) and you will be fine.
Aha! thanks
any pointers on where to find that? I'm a windows/Xbox man
there is a very specific thread in this forum, have a look
found it but - "No Updates Available"
Soooooo - if the script isnt working "no updates available" how do I update Live?
