Currently, offsetting audio uses 0.025 second increments. As this is too much for my purposes (audio lags maybe 0.015, depending on circumstances) I'd like to change the increment to 0.005.

Does anyone know offhand where I can find this in the source?

Are you sure? I'm seeing 0,025 second increments here (xbmc r20605).
