Gujs Wrote:What version of ubuntu did yo use? If you have 9.10 than it should work. And it would be great if you paste an error here, I would like to see what went wrong.

I am using Lucid Lynx (64bits). It seems a problem with dependencies.

Hi, how is possible switch channel directly into XBMC+TVHeadend ?
if i have:
1) tv_a
2) tv_b
3) tv_c

and if i press 1+enter then xbmc switch to channel 2 (tv_b)...

thanks
I prepared new packages, which were tested with lucid 64 bit and karmic 32 bit.

I am still looking what is wrong with channel change. Do you guys have the same problem, or is it just me? And does somebody knows if vdr-vnsi works good when changing channels?
I'm getting very bad flickering on your build from today when watching videos. The video and the osd itself flicker.

Was working fine in the previous build.

I'm using a 7 inch pc (o2 joggler) so not a great test but didnt have any problems like this with last build.

I'm using the karmic build btw
I don't see anything like that. Please look into the logs, if there is anything strange there. I build these packages the same way as before.
Do you use any hw acceleration (vdpau or vaapi)? And what kind of content do you play?
Thanks Gujs. The problem with the installation in Lucid (64) has been solved.

I have also problems with changing channels by number or by the arrows, but if I select each channel from the livetv list then works fine. I am using a DVB-T card with tvheadend.
Well, trying to figure out what this program does and what the requirements are hardware wise. So I went to http://www.lonelycoder.com to gather some more info and it only displays an index page. So no file to download either.

So, is this a web tv program or do I need a DVB-S/T card?

I have a pinnacle hdtv card, but I fail to see what good that is unless I tap into a comcast cable network. I do have dish, and I am looking to see if there is a way to connect into the HD pvr.

Anyone point me to a site that has hardware requriements for the use of tvheadend and maybe what it is all about?

I just uploaded new version to my ppa. In this one I fixed channel change and added audio and subtitle audio detection. I will appreciate for any feedback about channel changing fix?

I also submitted trac ticket if someone wants to compile it itself:
http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/9300

Great work, Gujs! Now channel changing works like a charm.

Thanks for your work but is your XBMC package build from last svn from the pvr-testing branch ?? I ask that because the revision is 1:9.11+svn30563.lucid1 , a strange name I think.

Thanks !!
Yes it is last svn from the pvr-testing branch.

xbmcuser2000 I am glad that it works for you.
