how bout a official xbmc remote maybe a bluetooth one designed by xbmc users for xbmc users.

everyone could come up with there own ideas on how it should look what buttons are on it, could have like a contest best design wins something, if everybody donated 10bucks should be more then enough money to get the ball rolling

I believe that Boxee has plans on eventually making a custom remote control for Boxee...

...so might be easier to just to lobby them to also re-brand and resell it for XBMC as well?


Actually, if this would become reality then I think we should really have two different remotes...
...I imagine one relativly simple 'cheap' remote, and one more advanced 'expensive' remote...

PS! If bluetooth then it would have to use ULP (Ultra Low Power) mode extension IMHO!
