Hi there,

Just started using XBMC, so glitches are keep coming. There some movies in ISO format XBMC fails to play. Please find the log http://pastebin.com/m17b7ab93 for one that didn't work. I used "dvdbackup" to copy the DVD first and then mkisofs with "-dvd-video" option to create .iso file. XBMC can play some of them but not the all. Am I doing any thing wrong? Cheers!!!

Seems to be a common error according to google. I'd need a copy of the ISO to debug. You can email me at davilla [at] xbmc [dot] org for a ftp server login.

Sorry, I misunderstood your request........
email sent now. Looks like xbmc fails to the ISO made off copy protected DVDs. I'm trying with another iso as well.

Hi all,

Any update on this topic? I'm experiencing the same issue (ie XBMC crashing, "exiting with error code 11") when playing some .iso files. All of them play perfectly on my MacBook Pro (10.5.8), reading the files from the same smb source (NAS). I'd exclude an issue related to the NAS.

I'm running aTV 3.0.1 and XBMC 9.11 (was the same with XBMC 9.04). Tried also with Boxee and I get the same exact result (crash with error code 11) with the same .iso files.

Already tried some hints found online but with no luck :mad:

Any suggestion?
