I'm trying to get the lyrics plugin to work on MediaStream:
1) Put the path to the XBMC Lyrics that came with Media Stream into the Path to Lyrics option in Sytem-->Skin-->Music
That didn't work
I copied the XBMC Lyrics folder to:
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\scripts
It then appeared in the Scripts window. When I tried to run it it gave this error:
ERROR
PYTHON SCRIPT FAILED
SPECIAL://HOME/SCRIPTS/XBMC LYRICS/DEFAULT.PY
I then tried to set the path in Sytem-->Skin-->Music to
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\scripts
But, of course, it wouldn't go there because it's protected or hidden or whatever!
Now totally lost. I cant find any reference to how to use this script in the wiki or by searching on the site.
Surely, whoever provided this script could have just put a readme in there on how to install the script! Many beginners (like me) are put off by this sort of problem and are forced to ask in the forums (again and again). It's really embarassing!
