The tar z flag was only missing inside the debian file for makemkv 32 bit ....

I tested the 3 other packages with tar xvzf

makekmkv 64 -> confirmed and tested .-)
handbrake 32 -> confirmed and tested :-)
handbrake 64 -> confirmed and tested :-)

The ugly bug with the state file comes from the missing makemkvcon file inside state.sh
and your choice not to install the bluray part .... (This is not your fault -> It is my fault)

I did search for makemkvcon even if someone did not install the bluray part during setup. .....
I do change the state.sh script that the script only looks for this executable
if no dvd is inserted or the bluray part is activated inside the settings.

Regards
Hans
- I do release 0.6.14 soon-
- It has allready a network script inside to test but not over the gui
- it has a lot of corrections
- More tests on startup

Should we leave the alpha state after the release of 0.6.14 ?

Hi,

I came across your addon and set it up, however I've found a few typos in the section installing makemkv for 32bit systems:

thanks ... change it asap and repack the zip .-)
OK, new question.

I'm getting the "Configured ssh-user is not current user" error. Where do I change this? I only have one user on this machine as far as I know...
if your username is NOT XBMC then you should change the settings and correct them.

I just installed the add-on on Xubuntu Linux+Dharma beta and am trying to run the setup.sh. I can't get past the licence question: the script rejects any input I give:

Code:
Do you want to accept this enduser-licnce ? (y)y
[: 152: y: unexpected operator
licence was not accepted !

----------------------- script rc=5 -----------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Whatever I reply, I always get the "unexpected operator" response. Any Ideas?

Found the solution myself: I was running the script using "sh ./setup.sh", but had to use "bash ./setup.sh".
OK I saw it and I asked myself what the hell this means ....
I used this shell-function allready a few times without any problem ...
I have included a test in the next coming release 0.6.15 to prevent
running setup.sh with a other shell than /bin/bash

So, I got it all installed but I keep getting errors when I start the script: Licence-key for makemkv expired, and various folder "not found or writable".

I installed the current key through the makemkv GUI, and it's correctly written in ~/.MakeMkv/settings.conf. I also created all folders as listed in the add-on settings in my home folder, so they are there and writable. It almost looks like the script is looking at the wrong homedir, so I tried copying the folders to /home/xbmc, to no avail. The correct username is set in the settings and the "Test ssh" in expert mode reports success. Any ideas?
Inside the startup of the script I do look for all the folders that are defined inside
the settings.
Inside the shell-linux folder is a script called check-mkv.sh
Please run this file and report back the output ...

You changed your new directorys to the folders inside your home-dir over the settings ?

Activate debug-log and use a pastebin that we can have a look on it ..
