I saw it ....
http://code.google.com/p/swiss-army-knif...x/setup.sh
it should be E_DPKG=6

you have to run the script as user root .... because we will install software
sorry to be a pain, Ive got it all installed now but every time i go to rip a dvd it says

"device is locked by another service" or something like that?
Remove Lock-file inside menu active jobs ,-)
Release 0.6.15 is finished and can be downloaded over the luxeria-repository.
Great peace of software! Is it also possible to transcode files (not from DVD/Bluray but already compressed files on the harddisk/SMB) to PSP/iPhone? So you can use this program to convert files for use on your iPhone?
Yes ... i guess in beta 2 or beta 3 you could use a iso from disk / vobdirectory or a mkv as source. This feature is allready inside my agenda .-)
Great! Would love to use XBMC to convert files to given formats like iPhone. Also for pictures and music I would like to see this. But this probably is out of scope for this project. Maybe those converting functions should be looked at in a broader perspective and deserve a seperate addon.
My software is now beta 1 and I hope to get much feedback .-)
Hi, its me again, I completly re-installed linux from scratch and now when i run the setup.sh it gets half way through then says

the installation of makemkv-v1.6.0-bin_20100930-1_i386.de
was not successfull.
please do confirm that the installation was not successfull.

and exits the setup Sad

im using the latest version of swiss army knife on lucid 10.04
Thanks for the feedback inside the setup.sh it should be like

dpkg -i makemkv-v1.6.1-bin_20100930-1_i386.deb

AND NOT ....

dpkg -i makemkv-v1.6.0-bin_20100930-1_i386.deb

Ok I fixed it within a hour ....
It is done ....
I found also a bug inside dvd-vcopy.sh. It will completly fail in the case that
the dvd-volume name has spaces inside. If someone is needing this fix he can
download the current svn relase of the script which cotains allready a fix ....http://code.google.com/p/swiss-army-knif...d-vcopy.sh

copy and paste the text from the above links and save the file ...
(or you can wait for beta 2 .... if vobcopy is not used)

I guess you have to remove the addon that the new addon-zip will be
downloaded ... I did not change the release number only the addon.zip

dpkg -i makemkv-v1.6.1-bin_20100930-1_i386.deb

and It rip's fine Smile SmileSmileSmileSmile Smile
Ok no problem .... One thing I realy would like to know is about the bluray-part.
Is the transcoding bluray to mkv working ?
I haven't a single confirmation that this part of my script is working ....
