Hi all,

I just had to do a complete re-install of my entire system due to my own stupidity, but thankfully everything has gone smoothly....except for 2 things.

Keep in mind I have installed XBMC in EXACTLY the same manner as I did the first time.

In my first install:

The xbmc directory was at ~/.xbmc and any exported media databases were exported to ~/.xbmc/userdata/database/

but now in my second install:

The xbmc directory is in /usr/share/xbmc and any exported media databases are no where to be found! According to the exporter in XBMC its putting the exported databases under special://masterprofile/Database.

What is going on? What has changed? Was it something I did or the devs did?

Huh

And how can I find the exported databases? I have my own database I'd like to import but cant do that either until I find this mythical Database folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
Sounds like you're running it as root...
OK, thats all well and good except I installed it in exactly the same way I did the first time (to the letter) so why is it different this time?

Any word on how I can find the exported video database file?
Debug Log -> pastebin
Ah cheers.

I was mucking around with my user profiles and activated root user and everything is the way I expected it to be suddenly.

Really no idea what I did...
