Full Version: [LINUX] Are any DLL's needed for a successful Linux build?

Hi,

on my Launchpad PPA, I build XBMC-packages for Linux (based on branch pvr-testing). To minimize the upload size and upload duration for me and save some space on my PPA, I was wondering if I can separate some folders / files from my SVN checkout which are only important for Windows builds before uploading the XBMC source package to Launchpad.

Especially the 63 DLL files (=22 MB) that are part of the SVN checkout, for example the python.dll or the dlls in folder /system/players/dvdplayer - are any of those DLL's needed for the Linux version to build and run properly?

Cheers,
hepi
no .dll's are used on linux - which is also why none is installed by make install...
Thank you, spiff, for confirming my thoughts!

Cheers,
Henning
