I have searched the forums and tried everything possible.

There is no plugin option in add sources? Am I missing something? Also no aptitude in scripts.

I installed xbmc live from CD to my USB stick yesterday. I have copied SVN Repo installer to /home/xbmc/.xbmc/plugins/programs but I cant see it as I cant add plugin sources.

Can somebody shed some light on the plugins and/or the aptitude script.

The Standard Skin doesn't have a "Program" Section.
Put the Repo Installer in .../plugins/video und start it from the Video Section.

If the standard skin is Project Mayhem III, it DOES have a Programs section, you just need to enable it in Skin Settings (http://www.xbmc.org/wiki/?title=Skin_Settings, not in the actual screenshots, but it's there). Then you will see the Program Plugins in Programs menu entry, no need to add any sources.
