I have recently replaced an old SD copy of one of my movies with a nifty new one in 1080p. The filename is exactly the same.

But how do I manage to update the media data in XBMC für this movie?

I have tried refreshing the movie infos, I have even deleted it from the library and then re-added it - without luck, the mediadata is still showing "SD" and the old audio codec from the sd file.

Any thoughts?

Use the Info button to bring up the details of the movie then hit "reload".
Been there, done that, no success. The media data still stays the same.

Using Rev 21397 meanwhile, also no change in behaviour.
It sounds like it's loading the old info from an NFO file.
Thank you, that was the cause, problem solved.
Didn't know, that XBMC also looks for media infos in NFOs.
