I've been pulling my hair out over this. I've searched all over the net and can't find the solution. Here is my senerio:

Folder structure:

Movies (folder)
--------> Movie A (folder)
-----------> Movie A.avi
--------> Movie B (folder)
-----------> Movie B_1.VOB
-----------> Movie B_2.VOB
-----------> Movie B_3.VOB
-----------> Movie B_4.VOB
-----------> Movie B_5.VOB
--------> Movie C (folder)
-----------> Movie C.avi
--------> ect. (folder)

I go into "Video"
Select the Movies" folder
Go to "Set Content"
Select the following:
Directory contains; Movies
Run Automated Scan
Use Folder names for lookups
Scan Recursively

When the scan is finished I get the following:

The movies that are a single .avi file are fine

The Movies that are DVD Rips (the ones with multiple .VOB files) are listed as multiple movies (1 movie for each .VOB)

So I change the "Set Content" to include : Selected folder contains a single video

Run the scan again

This seems to scan the "Movies" folder only for one file then stops. It doesn't list any of my movies.

I have tried every way I can think of to sort this out. I have too many movies to scan the individual movie folders 1 at a time.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance.
Don't scan recursively.
Tried that.

Then it only lists the "Movies" folder, not the actual movies in the folders below it.
