This plugin was requested a while back, it has bunch of Live Desi Channel feeds (South Asian) from livedesi.tv. The best way to use the plugin is to set the View mode to ICON based as there is no text associated with each channel, only logos.
I have verified it to work on Xbox.

It seems half of the stuff does not work on the actual site itself, and a few that do work have some sort of redirection added that is getting the plugin to fail playing the streams. I would recommend using the iDesiTV plugin from Evildude from here:

idesitv.com has been the most consistent site I have seen, with still some periodic blackouts.
Will see if the livedesi.tv site improves in the future and if its worth the effort to fix this in the future.

Most of the streams work perfect for me. Only some sites don't work but they don't work on the actual site itself either. Again mine works on XBOX tested as late as today.
There could be some Proxy issues in Canada? Have you tried the site directly? Also, iDesiTV works for me too.
ahh maybe because im in canada but it works fine on my pc but not through apple tv...wonder why
The links work on hte site, but using xbmc on the same pc they dont work...if you try to browse directly to the URL on your pc it won't work as well looks like you have to do it through their main site....missing something looks like..
Look at the below thread for latest on this... I was working on this plugin last night and before I went to bed it was working fine, this morning when I tested everything stopped working. It seems Livedesi.tv folks have started checking for User -Agent, i.e. XBMC sends its own ID, while Wondows send its own, and hence on XBMC it stopped working.
When I test the script in pure Python, everything still works, only from XBMC it does not work due to above User-Agent stuff I mentioned. The reason when you copy&paste the stream url in FF or IE and it does not work is because it needs to know who the referer is, and that is what I had fixed last night, but seems now we have another issue...
Voinage is an expert on Veohproxy, we need to get him to look into this. If he can help I will modify the script to work with Veohproxy or Veohzshare, either one.
Also, I have posted the new iDesiTV plugin there too, which kind of works with the Beta site's existing flakiness...

Here is a temporary release of the plugin. Only issue I see is that every alternate times you will have to click on the channel name twice. I will be looking to fix this soon, but in the meantime you can use this:

As time permits, will think about that tvfunda site, looks neat. But not anytime soon...
